Marketplace season ends with Harvest Night

The Marketplace at the Pulaski Train Depot finished the season Tuesday with a Harvest Night event. A fairly sizable crowd attended the event, but precautions undertaken relative to the coronavirus greatly affected attendance in general at this year’s Marketplace … and not for the better.

The Marketplace started much later than in past years and special requirements, including designated routes for shoppers, were put in place to hinder the spread of the virus. There were also notably fewer vendors than in year’s past. Vendors who did come to the Marketplace this season were required to wear face masks.

Harvest Night at the Marketplace was reminiscent of how these events looked and sounded in the past, with 22 vendors selling a variety of goods and the Don’t Quit Your Day Job band providing the tunes. There were also two food vendors and wines of both the red and white variety were also available.
