Two students from Pulaski County Public Schools were recently recognized for their artistic endeavors.

Dee Dee Triplett of Pulaski County High School won first place in the Virginia School Board Association’s (VSBA) Blue Ridge District Art Contest for high school students. She won for her depiction of an emerald luna moth.

Triplet’s art will be displayed on the VSBA website and at the 2020 VSBA Annual Convention.

Kaylee Cox from Dublin Middle School placed third in the district contest for middle school students. She entered a colorful depiction of a female face.

VSBA has held the regional contest since 1989, with the goal of promoting the artistic talents of Virginia’s public school students.
