If cruising along the highway with the wind in your hair is your cup of tea, be sure not to miss the upcoming Motorcycle Show and Family Fun Day at Ratcliffe Memorial Transportation Museum in Pulaski.

In addition to having motorcycles on display, the Sept. 21, 2-6 p.m., event includes food trucks, music, children’s activities, local police bicycles and more. Entry forms for the motorcycle show are available at the museum and on the museum’s Facebook page.

Half of the proceeds from show entry fees go to a scholarship account that can be used to purchase bricks to honor Pulaski County Lifesaving Crew members in the museum’s Memorial Brick Garden.

The other half of proceeds goes to the motorcycle receiving the most votes from show visitors. The winner also will be rewarded with a commemorative brick in the brick garden.

Visitors casting votes are eligible for a door prize drawing.

In honor of late museum board member and volunteer Wally Brockmeyer, Brockmeyer’s V-Max motorcycle will be on display the day of the show. A Honda dirt bike he had restored for his grandson, Grayson, also will be on display.

Call 980-2307 or email jessiebrockmeyer@gmail.com for additional information. Entry fees must be paid at the museum.
