Goal keeper Bailley Nash recorded 18 saves Tuesday, but the Lady Cougars saw their net peppered with shots all night as the Hidden Valley Titans ran away with a 7-1 win over the homestanding Lady Cougars in Dublin.

Trailing 5-0 with just over five minutes remaining in the contest, Sarah Crabtree found an open spot in the Lady Titan defense and slipped a shot through to avoid the shutout.

Sydney Smith recorded three shots in the game. Alex Turner, Hailey Simpson, Paige Hopkins and Crabtree recorded two shots each. Brooke Arnold and Emma Hay took one shot each.

In junior varsity action, the younger and understaffed Lady Cougars played with 10 and at times nine players against the full Hidden Valley JV squad. Despite a valiant effort, the Lady Cougars fell 2-0 to the Titans.

The two Lady Cougar squads are scheduled to be back in action Thursday, May 2, when they host Carroll County for senior night. JV action is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by the varsity contest around 7 p.m.
