Jobs, internships aim of PCHS job fair

Staff Report

Pulaski County High School students in search of jobs or internships can receive assistance next week as Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce holds a job fair at the school.

The job fair is open to students ages 14-18. Chamber representatives will be set up in the commons area during all three lunches to help any student interested in employment and/or potential internships in the area.

In addition to providing informational pamphlets and prizes, the chamber will have work permits available for students under 16 who are seeking employment. Interview tips and other job seeking guidance also will be available.

“The job fair is designed to retain and recruit student talent in Pulaski County by offering students an opportunity to get a step-up in today’s workforce,” said chamber Director Peggy White.

She noted the chamber is opening doors all over Pulaski County for student to benefit. She’s hoping they will take advantage of this opportunity, as well.
