If you’re looking for something to do Saturday afternoon, head out to Ratcliffe Memorial Transportation Museum in Pulaski and view Fords, particularly Mustang’s, taking part in the 2018 T’N’T Ford Rally.

Uncertainty over the impact of Hurricane Florence in Southwest Virginia prompted many events for this weekend to be postponed or cancelled. However, Roanoke Valley Mustang Club decided Thursday to proceed with the road rally regardless if it rains.

The rally leaves from Burlington Coat Factory on Hershberger Road in Roanoke at 9 a.m. Saturday. It is expected to be at The Ratcliffe 3-4:30 p.m. The museum is at 51 Commerce St., at the intersection of Dora Highway and South Washington Avenue in downtown Pulaski.

Proceeds from the rally benefit C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Officers, www.nationalcops.org).

Local owners of Mustangs and other models of Fords are encouraged to bring their cars to the museum for display in the parking lot when the rally arrives.

Pulaski’s “Chrome in the Valley Cruise-In” that was to be held 4-8 p.m. Saturday at Jackson Park has been postponed until Sept. 22.
