Groundbreaking set for the new middle school

In an announcement from the Pulaski County Public Schools Tuesday, the official news of the groundbreaking for the new united Pulaski County Middle School made public.

“Pulaski County Public Schools is happy to announce the official groundbreaking ceremony for the new Pulaski County Middle School,” the release stated. “This event is scheduled to be held Saturday, July 21, 2018, at 9 a.m. at the construction site (across from Cougar Express on Rt. 11) and all members of the public are invited to participate. Attendees should plan to park near the bus loop on the gymnasium side of Pulaski County High School and ride one of the available shuttle buses to the site. Buses will begin operating at 8 a.m. and should be available every 10 minutes.”

The new unified middle school will feature modern, state of the art educational tools and systems as well as a floor plan that makes maximum use of all available space.

Pulaski County voters approved the measure to build the new middle school during the November 2016 elections.
