Stables, Ratcliff, Haynes selected to All-RRD

Three Pulaski County Lady Cougar basketball players were selected as members of the All-River Ridge District basketball team, which was announced Monday.

 

Senior Amiah Stables was selected as a member of the first team. She is joined on the first squad by Grace Hutson of Blacksburg, Reagan Delp and Zada Porter of Cave Spring, Alexis Conley and Serena Lytton of Patrick Henry and Jordyn Sadler and Sawyer Freeland of Hidden Valley.

 

Sophomore Maddie Ratcliff was selected as a member of the second team. She is joined by Julia Moschella, Hanna Allen and Hannah Carr of Christiansburg, Katie Evans of Salem, Meredith Smith of Hidden Valley, Skyler Prosser of Blacksburg and Savannah Derey of Patrick Henry.

 

Senior Tyanna Haynes was named as an honorable mention on the squad. She is joined by Bre’ Lohrmann of Hidden Valley, Kendra Bolen, Deneja Hampton and Alla Daniel of Salem, Meghan Shelton, Hannah Ramey and Kylia Williams of Blacksburg, Moneshia Wright of Patrick Henry, Kendall Lewis of Christiansburg and Kieera Mooney, Taylor Robertson and McKinley Pollard of Cave Spring.

 

The River Ridge District Player of the Year is Grace Hutson of Christiansburg. The Coach of the Year is a tie between Joe Hutson of Christiansburg and Mike Hedrick of Patrick Henry.

 

The Lady Cougars finished the season with a record of 7-16 after a 60-41 loss to Cave Spring Friday in the River Ridge District tournament.
