‘Pollockesque’ building in line for mural

A Pulaski building that has donned a unique paint job for more than a year, might end up sporting one of the town’s first pieces of artwork under a proposed mural project.

Town Manager Shawn Utt recently told Pulaski Town Council that building owner Jeff Corbin has expressed interest in the structure becoming part of a mural project Pulaski is developing.

“We’re looking for volunteer property owners to be part of the program,” Utt said. Council members asked for an update on Corbin’s building, at the intersection of East Main and Third streets. They referred to the structure as the “Jackson Pollock” building” and “Jackson Pollockesque” building.
