Miller, Eaton united in matrimony

View More: http://skyryderphotography.pass.us/eatonRadford, Va., the home of the bride’s parents, was the site on Sept. 6, 2014, for the beautiful afternoon wedding of Kathleen Laural Miller and Kyle Aaron Eaton. The bride’s father, Dr. Donald Miller, officiated the ceremony, with music provided by Mike O’Donnell, a friend of the groom. The service was held in the front of the Millers’ home, with a view of Buffalo Mountain 40 miles away as the backdrop. The reception was held on the property, with food catered by P.J. Slaughter. Dancing lasted until late in the night.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Donald L. Miller of Radford. She was given in marriage by her father. She is the granddaughter of the late Jacob Carroll Bowman II and Shirley J. Bowman of Anderson, S.C. (then Radford), and the late Donald Carl Frederick and Camilla Mae Miller of Largo, Fla.

The groom is the son of Kenneth Robert Eaton Jr. and Mary Louise Bergman Eaton of Ocean Isle, N.C . He is the grandson of the late John Frederick Bergman and Betty Jane Bergman, and the late Kenneth Robert Eaton Sr. and Mary Nell Eaton, all of Columbus, Ohio.

Mrs. Anne Elizabeth (Annabeth) Daly, the bride’s sister, of Chesapeake, Va., was the matron of honor. The flower girl was Mary Kihla Grace Jackson, the bride’s niece, of Martinsville, Va. The guest attendants were Ms. Mary Allison Jackson, the bride’s sister, of Martinsville; Mrs. Lindsay J. Orr of Richmond, Va.; and Mrs. Meghan McHorney of Carolina Beach, N.C.

Brad Darrell Mickey of Apex, N.C., was the best man. The ring bearers were Drew Richard and Derek Joseph Gibney, twin nephews of the groom, of Marysville, Pa. The ring bearers delivered the rings hanging on a hook from an old cane fishing pole. The groom’s attendant was Jonathan Ryan Holmes of Raleigh, N.C.

The rehearsal dinner was given by the groom at Macado’s in Radford on Sept. 5.

The bride is a graduate of Pulaski County High School, Radford University and Valparaiso Law School in   Indiana. The groom is a graduate of Coshocton High School, Miami University of Ohio and University of Berkley School of Optometry.

After the ceremony, the couple honeymooned in Northern California. They will make their home in Wilmington, N.C.
