As part of the Dublin Lions Club’s budgeted giving, Daily Bread Inc. of Pulaski receives a $1,000 check annually, plus every month the club collects canned food items and money that are additionally donated. In February, the club will come to the kitchen and prepare, cook and serve meals to individuals who benefit from this ministry. At its Jan. 15 meeting, Dublin Lions Club collected more than 40 large cans of food and lemonade drink mix, and a $50 cash donation was made from the money collected at the meeting. Lion President Jerry Rotenberry and 2nd Vice-District Governor Lion Marty Alford delivered the food on Jan. 16. Pictured is Lion President Jerry Rotenberry presenting the food and money to Debbie Harrell, Daily Bread Inc. executive director.

Those with a strong desire to be involved in community service and humanitarian projects are invited to attend a Dublin Lions Club meeting as a guest at 6:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month at the Dublin Lions Club Building on Bagging Plant Road.
