Snook elected VP of PCUW board

The board of directors for Pulaski County United Way has elected Brennan Snook to serve as vice president of the board.

A member of the board since 2011, Snook fills the position left vacant when Robert Hiss left the county earlier this year.

Snook is manager of National Bank of Blacksburg’s downtown Pulaski branch. He is a Pennsylvania native, but he came to this area to attend Radford University, where he received a degree in economics in 2008.

“My wife and I, along with our daughters, enjoy living in the Pulaski area because it is quiet and we have really gotten to know a lot of good people; I also appreciate the ‘southern hospitality,’” he said.

Snook and his wife, Samantha, have two daughters, McKenzie and Kaylee. Samantha plans to teach once their children enter school.

In his free time, Snook enjoys fishing and spending time with his family.

Susan Dalrymple, PCUW executive director, said the all-volunteer board of directors welcomes Snook as vice president.
