After falling behind by a score of 7-1 early in the game, the Mariners fought back to tie the game 7-7 on the top of the 9th, but reliever Jarret Brown was unable to contain the Jays in the bot
tom of the inning giving the Jays an 8-7 victory.

The Mariners’ playoff hopes hinge on the outcome of tomorrow’s games. If the Mariners win vs. Bluefield tomorrow afternoon or Danville loses to Bristol tomorrow evening, Pulaski is in the post-season and will host the opening game of the playoffs on Sunday evening at 7 PM. If the Mariners lose and Danville wins, Pulaski is eliminated.
