Pulaski Affordable Housing community to hold dedication ceremony

Laurel Woods Apartments, a 46-apartment multi-family community in Pulaski, will celebrate their recent renovations with a dedication ceremony on Thursday, June 12.

According to Melissa Hammond with Community Housing Partners (CHP), the community’s makeover was made possible by funding by Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LITC). The renovations resulted in a complete rehabilitation of Laurel Woods by CHP’s in-house development, design and construction teams earlier this year.

Those renovations included a new community center, roof repairs, Energy Star appliances, new siding and doors, water heaters, electrical and HVAC systems, kitchens and baths, and flooring. According to Hammond, all of the design and construction was performed to meet Earthcraft standards for a more durable and energy-efficient facility.
