Blue Ridge Mountains-based musician Ron Ireland will provide entertainment at the town of Pulaski’s July “Lunch at the Depot” event.

A vendor will be on hand to offer food for the luncheon, which runs 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Thursday, July 17 at the historic Pulaski Train Depot at the corner of Washington Avenue and Dora Highway in south Pulaski.

“Lunch at the Depot” is held rain or shine. In the event of bad weather, the luncheon will be moved inside the train station.

A singer, songwriter and guitar player, Ireland describes his music as “a touch of country, a little blues, a pinch of rockabilly, and some old fashioned finger picking folk songs.”

Ron Ireland is one of the finest musicians in Southwest Virginia. I heard him play in May at The Depot for the Farmers Market. Fabulous setting, extraordinary marketplace, and beautiful music. What’s not to love!
