Danny Wayne Taylor

Danny Wayne Taylor “One in a Million,” age 64, of Pulaski, Va. (Shiloh Community) passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014.

Born Nov. 5, 1949 in Pulaski, Va., he was the son of the late Coy Thomas Taylor and Lizzie Kidd Taylor. He was also preceded in death by his Sister, Joyce Turner. He was retired from Lynchburg Foundry and Magnox Corporation.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his children, Lisa Long and husband, Hung Long of Suffolk, Va., Sarah Miller and Sammy Aker of Dublin, Va., Kathy Jo Clark and husband, Edward Clark of Georgia, and Jeremy Isget and wife, Christina Isget, of Texas; 10 grandchildren, L. Morgan Long, Ashley Long Lano and husband, Andrew Lano, Nick Long, Cari Kennedy, Brittany Hylton, Brandon Akers, Kimberly Richardson, John Richardson, Gabriella Isget, and Jeremy Isget Jr.; great-granddaughter, Jovi Noel Lano; brothers, Larry Taylor, of Pulaski, Va., and Richard “Dick” Taylor and wife, Betty Taylor, of Draper, Va.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.  Saturday, May 24 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski, Va.  Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery, Pulaski, Va.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 p.m. until service time at Bower Funeral Home.
