Garnett Fields Crowder Jr.

Garnett Fields Crowder Jr., age 67, of Dublin, entered into heaven Saturday, March 15. Born April 12, 1946 in Pulaski, he was the oldest son of the late Garnett Fields Crowder Sr. and Virginia Neese Crowder. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Hilda Harr, Jean Suggs, Vicki Mitchell and Dreama Burton and by brothers, Glenn Crowder and Danny Crowder. 

Surviving are his wife, Nancy Kay Crowder; daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Keith Meade; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Lisa Crowder; grandson, Joshua Andrew Crowder and wife, Brianna; granddaughters, Amanda Michele Tuggle and Whitney Erin Meade; great-grandson, Aaron Scott Boyd; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Donald Davis; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Pam Crowder, and special dogs, Ellie Mae and Layla Belle.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 18 at noon from Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Howlett officiating. Burial will follow in Thornspring Cemetery. Visiting will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home. In lieu of lowers, prayerfully consider making a donation in Garnett’s memory to Trinity Baptist Church.

    Nancy, I am so sorry for your loss.I only knew Garnett for 2 years,and I regret not knowing him a lot longer. He was always super nice to and I will miss him..

    Nancy I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that GOD will bless you and your family during this time of sorrow. Garnett and I grew up as friends , worked together at the Mill for many years. We can not question GOD , so all that new Garnett realizes there is another special Angel in Heaven.
