FAC celebrates Youth Art Month

The Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley is currently celebrating Youth Art Month, something they do every year for the entire month of March. They open the exhibit to students of all ages from Pulaski, Montgomery, Giles, Wythe and Floyd counties, and the city of Radford.

The chosen theme for this year’s celebration was “Cars of my Dreams,” celebrating the past, present and future of automobiles, and allowing students to put their own imaginations to work producing other-worldly creatures and stories, according to Judy Ison, executive director of FACNRV.

This year’s exhibit includes 84 pieces from K-12 students from Pulaski Elementary, Critzer Elementary, Dublin Elementary, Riverlawn Elementary, Snowville Elementary, Belle Heth Elementary, Pulaski Middle, Pulaski County High School and Blacksburg High School.
