Bus crash in Dublin leaves no injuries

A Pulaski County school bus was rear-ended on Route 100 this afternoon, near the intersection of Route 100 and Bagging Plant Rd., according to Virginia State Police, who said there were no injuries.

The accident occurred at about 3:40 p.m., said Trooper Robert Church, who did not know which school the bus was from.

Church said the other vehicle was an SUV with a passenger, but Church declined to comment on the sex or other details of the driver. He said that there were no intoxicants involved in the accident. The driver was charged with following too closely, but nothing else, said Church.

There was frame damage to the SUV and minor damage to the bus, he said, and declined to comment further as the case is still pending.
