William C. “Bill” Jones Jr.

William C. “Bill” Jones Jr., 44 of Pulaski, peacefully went to be with God on July 8, 2013. He leaves the legacy of a wonderful family. 

Surviving are his loving wife of 15 years, Tonya Jones; daughter, Adi Jones, and son, Josh Jones of Pulaski; daughter and fiancée, Kirsten Jones and Michael Brickhouse of Verona; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Holly Jones of Bridgewater; granddaughter, Caylee Brickhouse; grandson, Conner Jones; grandmother, Margaret E. Jones; father, Cecil Jones; sister, Karen Jones; stepbrother, Anthony Semones; stepsister, Tina Johnson; father and mother-in-law, Doug and Barbara McFall; brother-in-law and wife, Paul and Holly McFall; uncle and aunt, Odell and Frances Viars; nephews, Conner and Reece McFall, and many other uncles, aunts, and cousins. He is predeceased by his mother, Phyllis D. Jones; grandparents, Simon and Laura Duncan, and grandfather Robert E. Jones.

Born Sept. 22, 1968, Bill was a loving husband, father, son, teacher, and mentor. Only heaven will reveal one day the many countless lives touched and influenced by Bill’s encouragement, faith, and strength.

Please join the family for visitation Friday, July 12 from 6-8 p.m. at the Heritage Church, 6195 Cleburne Blvd, Dublin. A service to celebrate the life of Bill Jones will be held at the same location, Heritage Church in Dublin, Saturday, July 13 at 11 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Thornspring Church Cemetery, Pulaski.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Truliant Federal Credit Union, c/o Bill Jones Memorial Fund, 7321 Peppers Ferry Blvd., Radford, VA 24141.

    We are holding you & your family up in prayers! Bill was so funny in school. He was wonderful working with CJ & CJ really loved him, he will truly be missed by all!! God Bless you all!

    I am so sorry to hear this. I remember him from the bus rides and I lived in the neighborhood. Cecil is related to my children. I just found out. I pray God give you strength.
