Snowville man injured in collision with tree

A Snowville man was injured Sunday night when his vehicle struck a tree after running off the road.

Stephen Hagee was traveling on Little River Dam Road when he lost control of his 2000 Subaru, ran off the road and struck a tree, Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Jeff Saunders said. The wreck occurred around 8:35 p.m. near the Shelburne Road intersection.

Saunders said Snowville Fire Department had to cut Hagee from the vehicle. He was transported to New River Valley Medical Center by REMSI, with what Saunders said appeared to be serious injuries.

The wreck is being investigated by Deputy C. McKnight and charges are pending, said Saunders.
