Carolyn Elizabeth Grace Dale Repass

Rev. Carolyn Elizabeth Grace Dale Repass, age 66, of Wytheville, Virginia passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior surrounded by her loving family and friends on Saturday, April 27, 2013. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her life was devoted to God and her family. She served the congregation as pastor of Peppers Ferry Pentecostal Holiness Church prior to her retirement. Carolyn was born on December 23, 1946 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was the daughter of Revs. William Sr. “Bill” and Virginia “Penny” Dale. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Tyler Repass. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ronnie E. Repass Sr.; her  four sons, and their spouses: Ronnie Jr. and Martha Repass, Timothy and Theresa Repass of Christiansburg, Virginia, Michael and Teresa Repass, and Russell and Deidre Repass of New Market, Maryland; her ten grandchildren: Rubi Martinez and Rachel Repass, Morgan and Aaron Repass, Stephen, Jonathan, and Hannah Repass, and Alexander, Josiah, and Abigail Repass; as well as three brothers and a sister: William Jr. “Billy” Dale of Greenville, South Carolina, Linda “Gay” Johnson, Woodrow “Woody” Dale, and Danny Dale. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the Barnett Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jarrod Midkiff officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until service time. The immediate family will have a private interment. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Blue Ridge Cancer Care, 2013 South Jefferson St., Roanoke, VA  24014.
