Ned Randle Wright

Ned Randle Wright, 78, of Dublin, went to be with the Lord Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at his home.

He was born Sept. 26, 1934 in Bland, the son of the late Eugene W. and Minnie Ramsey Wright. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Wilma May Cox Wright, and two brothers, Fairly C. and Willard E. Wright.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Japan, Korea, Orleans and France. He was a lifetime member of DAV, member of Pulaski VFW Post 1184, American Legion Post 7, Boots at the Booth and Pulaski Moose Lodge 2087. He worked for Hercules 26 years as a plant-wide maintenance supervisor.

He is survived by one daughter, Lori W. Umberger and husband, Douglas Jr., of Dublin; one step-daughter, Lisa Faddis and husband, R.J., of Pulaski; one granddaughter, Amber Umberger, of Roanoke; one grandson, Taylor Faddis, of Pulaski; two sisters, Barbara W. Mabe, of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Ilene Wright, of Bland, and one sister-in-law, Freda V. Wright, of Dublin.

Funeral services will be today, Tuesday, Nov. 13, 10 am., at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate, with the Rev. Billy Akers officiating. Graveside military service will be in Shiloh Cemetery, Hollybrook, Bland County.

Visitation was held Monday, Nov. 12, at the funeral home.

    Sorry to hear of Neds passing. Worked for him at the plant. He was a good man. Will be missed
