Pulaski man sought in stabbing

A 42-year-old Pulaski man is being sought on an attempted murder charge in connection with a stabbing in the Caseknife Road area of the town.

According to Pulaski Police Officer Megan Jennings, the suspect, Johnny Raymond Thomas, is considered dangerous and may be carrying weapons.

Police responded to the 1500 block of Caseknife Road around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday after receiving a report of a possible malicious wounding there. Jennings said the victim was found to be “bleeding profusely” from a stab wound to the left rib cage area.

Jennings said the victim indicated he had been attacked and stabbed. The man was transported to LewisGale Hospital-Pulaski, but no condition report was available.

As a result of the investigation, warrants for attempted murder and felonious assault with intent to maim and kill were filed against Thomas. However, he has yet to be located.

Anyone having information on the incident or Thomas’ current location, is asked to contact Pulaski Police Department at (540) 994-8680.
