Bobcats, Generals play to a tie, 12-12

Naruna— Radford traveled to Naruna, Va. to take on William Campbell in a controlled scrimmage and came away with a 12-12 tie.
The Bobcats stopped Campbell on their first possession and then drove the ball on the Generals for the first score of the game.
William Minter and RJ Jordan provided the two touchdowns for the Cats. Radford quarterback Hunter Marshall completed a couple of passes in the controlled part of the scrimmage
Bobcat assistant coach Darden Freeman said, “We felt like we took a couple of steps backward and we didn’t tackle well either.”
This was the last tune up before this Fridays “Battle of the Bridge” game with the Pulaski County Cougars. Radford won last year, 32-29. The game will be played at Bobcat Stadium, game slated for 7:30 p.m.
