| Sayers — Martin (05-29-2007) Jane Katharine Sayers and Jeffrey Franklin Martin were married on May 26, 2007 at seven o’clock in the evening at Christ Lutheran Church in Radford, Virginia. The Reverend John McCandlish officiated the ceremony. A reception followed at Heron’s Landing Clubhouse. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Sayers of Radford, Virginia. She is the grand-daughter of Dr. and Mrs. J. W. Giesen of Radford and Mrs. Ruth James of Radford and the late Mr. R.V. James. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mr s. Linwood Martin of Richmond, Virginia. Miss Anne Morgan Sayers, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Miss Caroline Grace Sayers, niece of the bride, served as the flower girl. Mr. John Turba, Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio friend of the bride and groom, served as best man. Also, Jake Giesen and Nathaniel Moorefield served as ushers and Jessica Martin, sister of the groom served as the greeter. The bride is a senior at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia. The groom graduated from Hampden-Sydney C ollege, and is employed by Ricoh Americas Corporation. The couple will reside in Roanoke, Virginia. |
