| Dickerson — Vaughan (03-12-2007) ![]() The marriage of Sarah Caldwell Dickerson to Mark Andrew Vaughan took place at Memorial United Methodist Church at 4 p.m. October 28, 2006 in Appomattox, Virginia with the Rev. Wes Williams officiating. The bride is the daughter of Fred and Kathy Dickerson of Spout Spring, Virginia. She is the granddaughter of John and Edith McIntyre of Manassas, Virginia and the late Pete and Christine Dickerson of Spout Spring, Virginia. The groom is the son of Ronald and Susan Vaughan of Pulaski, Virginia. He is the grandson of Ronald and Louise Vaughan of Pulaski, Virginia and Alton Lawson and the late Bernice Lawson of Harrisonburg, Virginia. The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Miss Candace Inge of Charlotte, North Carolina, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Sarah Carney of Richmond, Virginia, Miss Meghan Foxwell of Appomattox, Miss Ashley Lewis, and Miss Amber Ormsby, both of Richmond, Virginia, all friends of the bride and Miss Courtney Vaughan of Savannah, Georgia, sister of the groom. Dr. Ronald Vaughan of Pulaski, Virginia, father of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Brian Vaughan of Staunton, Virginia and Mr. Erik Vaughan of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, brothers of the groom, Mr. Jeremy Smith of Pulaski, Virginia, friend of the groom, Mr. Andy Vaughan of Richmond, Virginia, cousin of the groom, and Mr. Danny Dickerson of Spout Spring, Virginia, brother of the bride. The bride is a graduate of Appomattox County High School and The College of William and Mary. She is currently in her last year of the Doctor of Pharmacy program at the Medical College of Virginia. The groom is a graduate of Pulaski County High School, he attended Virginia Tech and graduated from the Medical College of Virginia with his Doctor of Pharmacy degree. He is currently working as a senior Research and Development Scientist at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in Richmond, Virginia. A reception was held at the Ramada Inn in Lynchburg. After a honeymoon in Ontario, Canada at Niagara Falls, the couple will reside in Midlothian, Virginia. |
