| Archer, Cullip say wedding vows (07-28-2008) ![]() In a beautiful outdoor setting, April Christine Archer became the bride of Dustin Moore Cullip, Saturday, May 31, 2008, at 6 p.m. at the home of his parents in Dublin, Virginia. April is the daughter of Jim and Tami Archer of Crawfordsville, Arkansas. Dustin is the son of Andy and Becky Cullip of Dublin. She is the granddaughter of the late Tom Archer of Marion, Arkansas, and the late Donald Parsons of Millington. He is the grandson of Tyree and the late Faye Farris of Newbern, and Doug and Emogene Cullip of Dublin. Andy Cullip, father of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Drew and Darrin Cullip, brothers of the groom. Tami Archer, mother of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Shannon Parsons, cousin of the bride, of Millington, Arkansas, and Samantha Davis of Martin, Tennessee. The ring bearer was A.J. Bryson, cousin of the groom, from Draper. Flower girls were Darcie Ball, cousin of the groom, of Max Meadows and Emma Archer, niece of the bride, of West Memphis. Aaron Hoback of Dublin officiated at the wedding. Carrie Ball, cousin of the groom sang “Heavenly Day” accompanied by Wes Blair on guitar. Harrison Huxford, guitarist, played the prelude as the wedding party entered. The bride was radiant in an ivory fitted strapless gown with beaded Battenburg lace overlay. Her veil was shoulder-length, edged in matching beading. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies, white and green orchids, and miniature white roses. She was given in marriage by her father, Jim Archer. An outdoor reception was held at the home of Andy and Becky Cullip following the ceremony. A special barbecue dinner was prepared and presented by “The Blue Ribbon” barbecue team from Memphis, Tennessee: Roger and Rita Gilmore, John and Sarah Trough, Joe and Patsy Catt, and Tony and Bea Parsons, uncle and aunt of the bride. A three- tier wedding cake was made by Karen Bryson, aunt of the groom. The groom’s cake, which consisted of team roping decoration, was made by Carrie Ball, cousin of the groom. Following a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, the couple will reside on the family farm in Dublin. They are both employed and manage 5-C Farm and Home Supply in Pulaski. A post-wedding party is also planned in Marion, Arkansas, on August 2, 2008. |
