| Hodge, Caya say vows (04-28-2008) April Lea Hodge and Ryan Edward Caya were united in marriage on September 8, 2007, at Greene Memorial United Methodist Church in Roanoke, VA. Dr. Howard Foster officiated. Following the ceremony, the bride and groom were escorted by horse and carriage to the Hotel Roanoke where the reception was held. The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hodge of Roanoke, VA. April is the granddaughter of the Late Kathleen and Garland Covey of the Mountain View Community and the late Mrs. Irene Johnson, formerly of Christiansburg. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Caya of Winston-Salem, N.C. Maid of honor was Amy Hodge, sister of the bride. Attendants were Nicole Milliron, sister of the groom, Brittany Caya, daughter of the groom; and Jessica Ivey, Caroline Hancock, Lynne Schmidt, and Josie Hyams. Best man was Wayne Caya, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Bobby Milliron, brother-in-law of the groom; and Tim Sink, Brian Jones, Matt Whitehead, Geoff White, and Cory Hastings. Flower girl was Madisen Milliron, neice of the groom, and Ringbearer was Jalen Arrington. Reader was Carla Reynolds and Ushers were Joey Gates, Robert Bozarth, and John McGory. The bride is a graduate of William Byrd High School, Virginia Tech, and Medical College of Virginia. She is employed as a Physical Therapist with Carolina’s Medical Center-NorthEast. The groom is a graduate of William Byrd High School and Virginia Tech. He is employed as an Electrical Engineer with Talbot and Associates, Inc. The couple honeymooned in Los Cabos, Mexico, and reside in Charlotte, North Carolina. |
