| Gill-Coffey get married (10-29-2007) Laura Elizabeth Gill Coffey and Matthew Ryan Coffey were married Saturday, May 26th, 2007 at Muhlenberg Lutheran Church in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The Reverend Joe Vought and the Reverend Terrie Sternberg officiated the ceremony and dinner and dancing followed at the Kay Early Farm. The Gift of Love was sung by soloist Saundra Lawson, Don Smith was the organist, and scripture was read by the Pastors. Communion was presented to the congregation by Matt and Laura. The bride wore a white 'A' line dress with blue accents and carried a white bouquet of roses with matching blue covering the stems. The Maid of Honor was Christine Gill, sister of the bride. Brides Maids were Amy Edwards, Meagan Pratt, Shannon Cooper, and Rula Abu-Taleb who are friends of the bride. Jr. Brides Maid was Jane Haines and Flower Girl was Sarah Haines. The guest book was attended by Candis and Evan Neblett. The groomís best man was his father, Michael Coffey. Groomsmen were Stephen Coffey, Christopher Coffey, and Derek Cole brothers and friend of the groom. The bride is daughter of John and Linda Gill of Pulaski, Virginia. She is granddaughter of Louise Adams of Dublin Virginia. She is a graduate of James Madison University and is a counseling graduate student at Lenoir Rhyne College. The groom is son of Michael and Vanessa Coffey of Leawood, Kansas. He is a grandson of Dr. Lewis and Anne Coffey of Rocky Mount and Van and Joan Goss of Callaway Virginia. He is a graduate of James Madison University and is employed at Ryan Homes, in Charlotte. The couple will reside in Charlotte North Carolina. |
