A Pulaski home sustained about $30,000 in damage and was deemed a total loss Monday as the result of fire.
Pulaski Fire Chief Bill Webb said the first units to arrive at Barbara Mitchell’s 3780 Case Knife Road home reported heavy smoke and fire showing.
The department received the call at 7:41 a.m. and responded with two engines, one utility truck and 23 personnel. An investigation determined the cause of the fire was a faulty wood stove connection at the flue, Webb said.
Draper Fire Department provided a water tanker and four firefighters; REMSI was on medical standby and assisted with fire hoses.
No one was injured. Pulaski Fire Department was back in service at 11:40 a.m.
