When the new clubhouse opens at the Pete Dye River Course of Virginia Tech at Fairlawn, a Blacksburg restaurant will be operating its dining facility.

Bull & Bones Brewhaus and Grill will operate Bull & Bones at the River in the Hackin Hokies Lounge, which will be inside the new 18,000-square-foot, $5 million clubhouse. The clubhouse and lounge are expected to open in April.
Bull & Bones at the River will feature special menu selections from the Blacksburg restaurant, including its signature handcrafted beers and smoked ribs. A daily grill service and evening dinner hours will be available.
According to a press release from Virginia Tech, the facility includes a 4,000-square-foot elevated deck with views of the New River. The lounge has a seating capacity of 40 people indoors and 20 on the patio. The clubhouse also offers conference, catering and special events facilities for up to 150 people.
The clubhouse features vaulted ceilings with open beam construction, fireplaces and Tech’s signature Hokie Stone.
Home of the Virginia Tech golf team, the River Course will host the 2011 NCAA Regional Golf Tournament. The course received a nearly-perfect 4.5 star rating from readers of Readers Digest magazine in its 2008-09 “Best Places to Play” poll.
