Wreck leaves four injured

Four people were injured Saturday in a two-vehicle wreck on Bagging Plant Road in Dublin.
According to Virginia State Police, Roy Lunsford Jr., 20, of Dublin was northbound on Bagging Plant Road in a 1998 Chevrolet Monte Carlo when he entered the path of a 2004 Dodge Neon traveling south. The two vehicles collided, sending the Chevrolet over an embankment and the Dodge came to rest along the shoulder of the road.

Four people were injured Saturday in a two-vehicle wreck on Bagging Plant Road in Dublin.
According to Virginia State Police, Roy Lunsford Jr., 20, of Dublin was northbound on Bagging Plant Road in a 1998 Chevrolet Monte Carlo when he entered the path of a 2004 Dodge Neon traveling south. The two vehicles collided, sending the Chevrolet over an embankment and the Dodge came to rest along the shoulder of the road.
Police said the driver of the Dodge, 26-year-old Jessica Elaine Webb of Dublin and Lunsford were transported to an area hospital for treatment. Each vehicle had one passenger, both of whom were transported for treatment.
State Police said Lunsford was charged with failure to maintain control.
The wreck occurred at 2:15 p.m., three-tenths of a mile south of Route 11.
