Pulaski County officials were able to obtain some evidence from the scenes of two armed robberies at Fairlawn restaurants Friday night.

Pulaski County Sheriff Jim Davis said officers are still following up on “a number of leads developed over the weekend through physical evidence obtained at the scene.”
Asked whether authorities have received any tips or information from the public, Davis would neither confirm nor deny they have.
“I’m still confident (the Fairlawn robberies) are related and that three to four suspects were involved,” the sheriff said. Friday evening, Davis said he believed two to three suspects were involved. Asked why he had changed that to three to four, he said, “We feel there were at least two people in the car during the robberies.”
He noted that investigators are still combing through external surveillance video from Wal-Mart and other businesses to gather information on the suspects and suspect car.
Troy’s, a pizza and sandwich shop, and King Buffet, an Asian food restaurant, were robbed within four minutes of each other just after 9 p.m. Friday. The businesses are located in separate, adjoining shopping centers off Route 114 at Fairlawn.
In both cases, a white male entered the restaurant, displaying a firearm and demanding money. They both fled on foot with undisclosed amounts of money. Davis said the suspect in the Troy’s robbery received a “large amount” of change.
The Troy’s suspect was described as being around five foot, nine inches to five foot, 10 inches tall and weighing 180 to 200 pounds. He was wearing camouflage over his face, a gray hoodie, jeans and black gloves.
The King Buffet robber is described as five foot, nine inches tall, 160 to 170 pounds, wearing camouflage over his face, an Army-type camouflage jacket, jeans and black gloves.
Davis said a small dark-colored car was seen “speeding from the area” shortly after the second robbery.
Pulaski police reported no new information in a third weekend robbery in the Town of Pulaski.
According to Pulaski Police Sgt. R. E. Riddle, a delivery driver for an undisclosed business reported being robbed around 12:20 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Laurel Wood Drive.
Police said the delivery driver reported being approached by a black male, who brandished a firearm and demanded his moneybag. The suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money and “the victim’s property.”
A tracking dog tracked to an area in the 1900 block of Memorial Drive.
Anyone having information on the town robbery should call the police department at 994-8680.
Information on the Fairlawn robberies should be reported to the Sheriff’s office Crimeline at 980-7810.
