The County of Pulaski, Virginia is seeking proposals for a folder/inserter machine to be used in the Information Technology Department for the purpose of folding and inserting tax tickets, PSA bills and other county related documents into envelopes.
Proposals are due no later than 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 6, 2008. Any proposals received after this deadline may be returned to the offerer unopened. The County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and/or divide any project into sections. Pulaski County is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer. PUBLIC NOTICE
The Pulaski County Board of Supervisors intends to consider the following matters on which public hearings to receive citizens’ comments, will be held by the Board at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2008 in the Supervisors Meeting Room of the County Administration Building, 143 Third Street, NW, Suite 1, in the Town of Pulaski:
a) The petition by Larry D & Teri R Helms and John A & Tamara Helms to rezone from Residential (R1) to Agricultural (A1), on property identified as Tax Map Numbers 071-001-0000-0102 and 071-001-0000-0101, respectively, located at 3061 Mount Olivet Rd. and 3066 Mount Olivet Rd., (Rt. 710), Robinson District.
b) The petition by Stephen B Hedge to rezone from Residential (R1) to Agricultural (A1), on property identified as Tax Map Numbers 066-001-0000-0004, 066-001-0000-0005, 066-001-0000-0009, 066-014-0000-0008, 066-014-0000-0009, 066-014-0000-0010, 066-014-0000-0011,

c) The petition by Bullard Family Partnership to rezone from Residential (R1) to Agricultural (A1), on property identified as Tax Map Numbers 058-001-0000-0049, 067-001-0000-0042B, 067-001-0000-0035, located at Blue Sky Lane, (Rt. F066), Ingles District.
d) The petition by Howard C & Glenda A Kimbleton for a Special Use Permit (SUP) to allow a second dwelling, on property located at 6092 Parrott Mountain Rd., (Rt. 606), Cloyd District.
e) Revisions and updates to the Pulaski County Comprehensive Plan to the South Planning Area of the county. This area would include Snowville, Allisonia, Hiwassee, Max Creek and the Ingles Magisterial District.
f) Revisions to the Inoperative Vehicle Ordinance
g) Revisions to the Litter Control Ordinance

The object of this suit is to judicially sell certain real properties owned respectively by the defendants for non-payment of Pulaski County real estate
taxes, in accordance with Article 4, Chapter 39, Title 58.1 of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended, which properties are all located in Pulaski County, Virginia.
An affidavit having been duly executed and filed herein that with respect to some of the above-named defendants that it is unknown whether they are alive or dead; if live, whether they are residents of Virginia or what their respective, current addresses are; or if dead, who all of their respective heirs or successors in interest are or their respective addresses; that due diligence has been used without effect to ascertain the locations/addresses of such defendants, and that attempts at service on the other defendants in accordance with Virginia Code §8.01-296 have been ineffective, it is hereby,
ORDERED that each of the above named defendants and co-defendant appear before this Court by filing a responsive pleading herein on or before June 18, 2008, in order to do whatever is necessary to protect their respective interests in this suit.
It is further ordered that this Order of Publication be published once a week for four consecutive weeks in The Southwest Times, a newspaper of general circulation in Pulaski County, Virginia, and that the Clerk post a copy of this Order at the front door of the Pulaski County Circuit Courthouse.
