Hot Dog Sale

The Circle of Hope Relay For Life Team will be having a hot dog sale on Saturday, May 10 at the Tractor Supply in Pulaski! Hot dogs $1.00, hot dogs, chips, dessert & drink $5. Weight Watchers friendly hotdogs and snacks will be available. Also Relay yard sale will be Saturday, May 17 at the Shopezze in Dublin 8 a.m. until ?

Prayer Breakfast

Prayer Breakfast will be held at Dora Highway Baptist Church Saturday, May 10. Breakfast will be served at 9 a.m. with devotional and prayer service following immediately. The pastor and congregation would like to invite you to attend and enjoy the Christian fellowship.

Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction

Pulaski County Band Boosters Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction served in the High School Commons area from 5-7 p.m. Cost $5 – See any Band member or Band Booster or call Sonya Jennings at 633-0106 ($6 at the door) to go orders also available. See the play “Pirates of Penzance” put on by the drama department after the dinner.

Special Singing

Aldersgate UMC will have special singing featuring “Partners in Faith” Saturday, May 10 at 6:30 p.m. to kick off their Spring Revival – fingerfoods will follow this praise & worship service. Their revival will begin Sunday evening, May 11, and will continue through May 14, 7 p.m. each evening. They will have special singing each evening, featuring their choir and local singers from the area. Rev. Rick Wright, pastor of Central UMC in Radford, will be the speaker. The church is located at 1946 Medallion Drive in Pulaski. Please come and join them for one or all of their services, and be blessed!

Relay For Life Yard Sale

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office will be accepting donations for a large yard sale at the Newbern Community Center on May 10, again, all proceeds go to the relay, if you have any “yard sale items” you would like to donate, please call 980-7806, 980-7800 or see any sheriff’s office employee. They will pick up any donated items.

Community Spring Fling & Hot Rod Show

There will be a Free Community Spring Fling & Hot Rod Show at the New River Valley Fairgrounds in Dublin on Saturday, May 17 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Bring your family and enjoy a day filled with free food, games, prizes, moonwalks, Southern Gospel music & much more! Community Give Day

Community Give Day at Community Christian Church located in Newbern across from the NRV Regional Jail. This event is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 17 and is an opportunity for individuals and families in need to receive “yard sale” type items free of charge. Items will include clothing, baby and youth items and household items. If anyone should have items to donate for this event, donations will be accepted beginning Wednesday, May 14. New Life Harvest will have a Youth Revival Thursday, May 15 through Saturday, May 17 at 7:30 nightly. The church is located at 908 Noblin Street in Radford. All area youth are invited to attend. Tent Revival

B., Shirley Shelton & family from Christiansburg, will be under the Big Gospel Tent May 2 – 11 Monday through Saturday, 7:30 p.m. nightly and Sunday at 6 p.m. Every Sunday night special gospel singing only.
