Wanda Jane Harmon Blankenship, age 63, of Pulaski, Va., passed away Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014 at the Pulaski Health Care Center. Born Aug. 25, 1950 in Bluefield, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Scott “Bud” Harmon and Sarah Jane White Harmon. She was retired from RAAP and a member of the Newbern Church of God.
Surviving are her son, Earnest DeWayne Blankenship of Pulaski, Va.; daughter, Yolanda “Missy” Elliott and husband, Mark, of Christiansburg, Va.; grandchildren, Cameron and Angelia Arnold, Cory James Arnold, Keirstin Mishelle Dawn Arnold, Chelsea JoAnn Blankenship, and Dustin Andrew Scott Arnold; great-grandchildren, Kendra and Cameron; sisters, Gwen Pauley of South Carolina, and Drema Bradley and husband, Zane, of Snowville, Va.; nephews, Cody and Wyatt Bradley, and nieces, Crystal Harmon and Daniella Miller.
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21 at the Newbern Church of God with Pastor Clayton Quesenberry officiating.
