Pulaski County Clean Community Council has presented Rock House Marina at Claytor Lake with the August Clean Business Award.
In operation since 2008, the marina offers rentals, repairs, tackle and a variety of other services and entertainment. It hosts a weekly fishing tournament and will serve as headquarters for Friends of Claytor Lake’s upcoming Poker Run.
Rock House Marina has seven employees.
Clean Business Award recipients are selected based on recommendations and reviews by Clean Community Council members. Winners are recognized for “setting a standard of excellence and pride in the appearance of their business.”
The Clean Community Council meets the first Tuesday of each month. For more information on the council, it’s meetings or how to become a member, call Kim Wright at 980-7710.
