A 60-year-old woman was killed early Thursday in a single-vehicle wreck in Montgomery County.
According to Deputy M.E. Hollandsworth of Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Dorothy E. Miller of Pilot was northbound in the 2900 block of Pilot Road when her vehicle ran off the left side of the road into a ravine and caught fire. Miller died at the scene of the 12:55 a.m. crash.
An autopsy is being performed to determine whether a medical emergency contributed to the wreck. Hollandsworth said Miller was wearing her seatbelt and speed was not a factor in the crash.
