Parents and kids will have the chance to come out for an evening with the Pulaski Mariners baseball while helping students in Pulaski County this Thursday, Aug. 14.

Thursday night’s game will be the last day of Pulaski County Public School’s Pack the Bus drive, which is meant to collect donated school supplies for students in need throughout the county. Those who bring school supplies to donate will receive a ticket for prize drawings that will be held throughout the evening.

Among the prizes is an iPad Mini, HP laptop, activity passes for sporting events at Pulaski County High School, pearl earings, various gift certificates and gift cards from local businesses, etc.

All students will be admitted into the game for free if accompanied by a paying adult. Cougar football players, cheerleaders, and the Cougar mascot also will be at the game to give away prizes and be available for photo opportunities.

Various merchants and businesses donated supplies to support students in Pulaski County Public Schools. They included CVS in Dublin, PCHS Atheletic Department, Lemons Jewelry, Cavalier Supply, Curves, The Steer House, Tractor Supply, Walmart in Dublin, AMVets Post 50, Shoneys in Dublin, JanPak in Bluefield, W.Va. and Shelor Motor Mile in Christiansburg.
