Following last week’s public meeting regarding the sale of Calfee Park to the Shelor Motor Mile, the Pulaski Town Council decided to move forward and schedule a public hearing for the potential ball park’s potential transfer.
Pulaski town citizens will be able to voice their opinions and concerns regarding the sale of Calfee Park during the council’s next scheduled meeting on Tuesday, September 2 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building.
Town Manager said the public reception to the potential sale of the park was positive overall at last week’s meeting. However, he said a public hearing would be necessary to move forward with the council’s decision.
“For expediency and everything else that needs to happen between now and June 15, 2015 for the next season, I’d recommend we try and continue moving forward as appropriately as possible,” Utt said.
