Hensel Eckman YMCA will hold its first 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament in August, offering a prize of $1,000 for the first place finisher in the adult league.

The Aug. 1-3 tournament — hoped to become an annual event — will feature three leagues: Intermediate, ages 12-15; Adult, ages 16-49, and Senior, ages 50 and older. Seniors can play in the adult league if they choose.

Teams must have no more than four members and can be made up of all men, all women or a mix of both genders. Twenty to 60 teams can participate in each division and everyone will have an opportunity to participate.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, so register early by calling 980-3671 or stopping by the Y at 615 Oakhurst Ave. in Pulaski. Registration is $75 per team; however, if all members of a team have YMCA memberships, the fee is $65.
