Edna May “Peggy” Campbell Pattison, 87, of Dublin, Va., passed peacefully June 28, 2014 at Radford Health and Rehab Center in Radford, Va. She was born in Baltimore, Md., on May 26, 1927. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl Franklin Campbell and Edith M. Schmidt Campbell Atwell; her husband, Alfred (Pat) Henry Bazy Draper Pattison and a granddaughter, Cathleen Lendez Pattison.
She is survived by her children, the Rev. Carl F. (Rachel) Pattison of Loysville, Pa.; Loring D. (Kay) Pattison of Wytheville, Va.; A.Craig (Connie) Pattison of Norfolk, Va.; G. Gary (Dinah) Pattison of Rural Retreat, Va.; Bazette (Bep) P. Cooper of Fincastle, Va.; Melody P. (C. Wayne) Taylor of Hillsville, Va.; Keith L. (Susan) Pattison of Radford, Va.;
14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and her faithful pet, Sugar, whom she cherished and loved dearly.
Funeral services will be held at Thursday, July 3 at 2 p.m. at the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski, Va., with the Pastor Joe Shumate officiating.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 1 p.m. until service time.
