Since he first broke out into the business in 1998, Ryan Pelton has built a reputation on his uncanny resemblance to Elvis Presley in both his sound and physical appearance.
This Thursday, however, Pulaski will get a chance to see the man behind The King as he will bring his new show, titled “Pieces of My Life,” to the Little Theater at Pulaski County High School. According to Pelton, aka Blake Rayne, the show will encompass his rise to fame as an Elvis tribute act, but will also show the world about his original endeavors as well.
“You’ll kind of get a look behind the scenes,” Pelton said. “Not only at my career as an entertainer, but just at how all of this came about.”
The show will start out with tunes that narrate Pelton’s original endeavors as an Elvis tribute act. According to Pelton, it all started when his mother sent him a flyer for an Elvis look-alike contest, daring Pelton, who was working in web design at the time, to enter.
