New Pulaski baseball academy offers a spot to develop skills

While baseball season only lasts a few months out of the year, like most other sports, serious players know that in order to win games, practice has to be a year round routine.

Nature doesn’t always agree with that routine, and although baseball is primarily an outdoor sport, that doesn’t mean that practice should be necessarily limited to the open air. Enter Full Count Baseball Academy.

The new baseball academy opened in Pulaski earlier this month. Inside the large, sheet metal exterior lies a facility intended to help young players evolve in their sport.

“I’ve been working with kids for a long time, and I really wanted my own place,” said Drew Bailey, owner of Full Count Baseball Academy.
