Pulaski County Library System is launching its Adult Summer Reading Program, but this time it will be online.

Scott McGregor said the library will use the site “Goodreads” to encourage adults to read books and then post their opinions of the books online.

“Reviews do not have to be in-depth, but we would like to see readers interact with each other by discussing books they have in common,” McGregor said.

Participants can join the program by visiting the library website, www.pclibs.org. Click on the Adult Summer Reading link. The reading program begins Monday, June 2, and runs through July 28.

McGregor said adults also can participate by writing their reviews on paper forms and submitting them at the Pulaski branch on Third Street or the Dublin branch on Giles Avenue.

Weekly Walmart gift cards will be awarded to the top readers. The overall winner will receive a $100 Walmart gift card at the end of the contest.
