A former high school cheerleading coach accused of embezzling money from the cheerleading program is now set to enter a plea in Pulaski County Circuit Court.

According to court records and court officials, Angelia Paige Harrell was scheduled to appear in court at 3 p.m. this afternoon to enter into a plea agreement in her case. She is charged with three counts of embezzlement for incidents that allegedly occurred between March 2010 and Oct. 2011, but details of the proposed plea were not available at press time.

24 hours later and no comments? Hmmm… I’ll start of more kind than not. Harrell deserves prison time yes. Is it sad her life took a very, wrong turn? YES!! Do I wish she’d get straightened out? Absolutely. Let’s see what the plea turns out to be. If she pleads guilty I will have a more positive view that she does want to get better and realizes she has a serious problem. If she pleads innocent….then I hope the hammer falls hard. ‘Nuff said.

If she has good attorneys she will plead to a lessor charge, receive probation, even deffered adjudication upon completion. She and her attorneys know what their doing. I put $100, she gets no jail/prison time unless she fails her probation. Any takers??

She is taking a plea, that means she will have to plead either guilty or no contest. A plea deal will not allow her to plead not guilty. I agree with dlp, she’ll walk.

She’ll walk, while others are pulling time for lesser charges. But I don’t think she’s the type that will stay out of trouble. It will all depend on when she’ll get caught. Stay tuned…
