Dublin Town Council Thursday unanimously approved a $3.7 million 2014-15 fiscal year budget, which increased only $2,540 over the town’s current spending plan.

The new budget calls for no increase in the real estate tax rate of 21 cents per $100 of assessed value and utility fees will remain unchanged. The town will continue to collect a surcharge of $4.29 per water account to cover a water settlement with Pulaski County Public Service Authority (PSA).

Town Manager Bill Parker said there are no anticipated changes in the town’s workforce during the coming fiscal year, July 1, 2014-June 30, 2015, and there will be no salary increases for town employees.
