The Pulaski County Board of Supervisors held a special public hearing Monday night to discuss the proposed FY 2015 budget with the county’s citizens.
While Pulaski County is still waiting on some finalized figures from the state level, the Board of Supervisors have decided to put together a tentative budget that fits the county’s needs. Although those numbers are still relatively unofficial, they represent an approximate estimation of the funds that the state of Virginia provided last fiscal year.
“What we’re presenting tonight are the best numbers we have as of right now,” Chairman Joe Sheffey said as he opened the meeting.
