Specially made coins are on sale to commemorate this year’s celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Cloyd’s Mountain.
The Pulaski County Civil War Sesquicentennial Committee is offering the coins for $10 apiece. They can be purchased at Pulaski County Library on Third Street in northwest Pulaski, Charles and Ona B. Free Memorial Library on Giles Avenue in Dublin, Pulaski County Treasurer’s Office on the first floor of the historic Pulaski County Courthouse on Main Street in Pulaski and at the Pulaski County Visitor’s Center near Shoney’s in Dublin.
While purchasing a coin, collectors also may want to pick up a program from April’s reenactment of the Battle of Cloyd’s Mountain. The programs are free.
Coins and programs also will be available at the treasurer’s office during Pulaski County’s July 4 ceremony at the courthouse.
